1. Ring Dem Bells

First broadcast: Friday 5th September 1975

The platoon are to take part in a training film, but are horrified to learn that they are to play the Germans. There's also the issue of trying not to be seen in Nazi uniforms for fear of causing a panic.


2. When You've Got To Go

First broadcast: Friday 12th September 1975

Mrs. Pike is shocked to learn that Pike has been successfully called up into the armed forces despite his health. Meanwhile, Mainwaring has set himself the near-impossible task of finding enough people to donate 100 pints of blood.


3. Is There Honey Still For Tea?

First broadcast: Friday 19th September 1975

There is some sad news when it is revealed that Godfrey's cottage is to be knocked down in order to make way for a new aerodrome, and Mainwaring struggles to break the news. However, Frazer has a plan that may save the day.


4. Come In, Your Time Is Up

First broadcast: Friday 26th September 1975

The platoon are going away camping, but their trip is spoiled when the Vicar, the Verger and the Sea Scouts set up beside them. Things take a new turn at dawn when a group of bailed-out German airmen are found floating in the river.


5. High Finance

First broadcast: Friday 3rd October 1975

Jones is in financial danger as he has an outstanding £50 overdraft with the bank, and cannot afford to pay his staff. Helping to assess his books, Mainwaring discovers that the debt has a long and confusing trail to it.


6. The Face On The Poster

First broadcast: Friday 10th October 1975

Mainwaring hopes to recruit more members to the platoon with a series of posters featuring Jones, but there is a mix-up at the printers.


Christmas Special: My Brother And I

First broadcast: Friday 26th December 1975

Whilst Captain Mainwaring prepares to host an important social event, his drunken brother Barry arrives in order to claim a family heirloom that he believes to be rightfully his.
