Crazyhead Episode 6 review

Even as it enters the realms of big apocalyptic demon carnage, Crazyhead can't help but surprise and delight with its now-trademark anarchic style.

Matthew Dennis, Cult Box, 24th November 2016

The terrifying yet funny demon-bashing series draws to a close in outrageous style. It's Halloween and brilliant double act Amy (Cara Theobold) and Raquel (Susan Wokoma) go into hiding with only vodka, Jenga and boys for company. But, when it looks as if evil Callum has finally got hold of Raquel, Amy has to brave a fancy dress party to rescue her. That's if wise-cracking Raquel doesn't finish him off first with a barrage of "your mum" jokes. Disturbing and excellent.

Crazyhead episode 5 review

All in all, 'Downward Facing Dog' IS business as usual for Crazyhead. But that is no criticism whatsoever - in fact, the episode is easily the best one yet.

Crazyhead episode 5 review: Downward Facing Dog

If Crazyhead's lead characters could only break out from the uninspiring plot they're in, the result could be brilliant TV...

Crazyhead episode 4 review

Crazyhead reaches the halfway mark with an episode that reveals Raquel's significance to the demon world...

Louisa Mellor, Den Of Geek, 10th November 2016

The fast-paced, foul-mouthed horror-com from Misfits creator Howard Overman continues; think a sort of scruffier Buffy. DIY demon-bashers Amy and Raquel are still no closer to tracking down the missing Suzanne, though they have a hot lead on Mercy, the diabolical succubus worried about her pelvic floor. But could all their efforts just be playing into dapper archdemon (and insufferable wine snob) Callum's apocalyptic design? Fizzy and fun.

'Crazyhead' episode 4 review

Say what you like about E4's Crazyhead (though we'd rather you didn't, as we're growing quite fond of it actually), but the one thing you can never accuse it of is being a slow burner.

Matthew Dennis, Cult Box, 9th November 2016

Crazyhead episode 3 review

The fact that Overman's story is so concerned with the arc, there's a distinct and slightly disappointing feeling that the characters are a tad underserved as a result.
