Paul Nicholas stars as businessman Neil Walsh, a young wheeler-dealer who goes bankrupt but refuses to go under. Inextricably caught up in his precarious world are two women - his wife Sheila, whom he loves but is seeking divorce from him, and Janet Summers, the trustee appointed by the court to sort out his financial affairs.
