When Ashley decides that he wants to track down his real father, Vinnie and the gang promise to do everything they can to help find him. But getting the truth out of Ashley's family is like getting blood out of a stone. After visiting old family friend Auntie Pat (a cross-dressing, bare-knuckle fighter) they hatch a plan to get Ash's older brother Niall to spill the family secrets at the re-run of Cardi and Carol's wedding. Also, Vinnie unexpectedly finds himself taking new barmaid Sam on a first date, and things take an odd turn when a drunk Carol spills the beans on yet another secret.
