1. Episode One

First broadcast: Wednesday 13th March 2019

The action picks up with the unlikely duo in Mexico with a bag full of narcotics and an angry drug lord in the boot of their car, while Barnaby's sister Leah is locked up in a Mexican prison. With the cartel hot on their heels and the pair desperate to get out of Mexico, they realise their only way out is on Barnaby's temporary passport with Nina posing as his wife. Cue one awkward marriage.

2. Episode Two

First broadcast: Wednesday 13th March 2019

The net is tightening on Nina and Barnaby as they attempt to escape from Mexico. With no money and both the drugs cartel and the Sherman Twins' own bounty hunter, The Investigator, on their tail, they need all their cunning and wit to make it safely back to England. The only way Nina can make it back in to the country is by having to travel as Barnaby's wife.

3. Episode Three

First broadcast: Wednesday 20th March 2019

Having made it back to England, Nina is desperate to get home to her family. She's out of options - until the Shermans offer her a reward for finding the Hitler painting. But Barnaby wants no part of it. So now Nina has to choose between Barnaby and the money.

4. Episode Four

First broadcast: Wednesday 27th March 2019

Barnaby has been taken prisoner by Colin McQueen, who is also looking for the Hitler painting. Nina and Leah will have to work together to find the picture and free Barnaby while trying to keep the Sherman Twins' bounty hunter at bay.

5. Episode Five

First broadcast: Wednesday 3rd April 2019

When McQueen discovers the painting he has been given is fake, a gun fight ensues at Barnaby and Nina's wedding, arranged to allow a safe place for the hostage/painting exchange. As the dust settles, Barnaby realises what true friendship really is and Nina claims her bounty from the Sherman Twins.
