Further details

Joyce is invited to a conference in Barcelona. It seems like a welcome break - until she finds out that she has to make a speech in Spanish. She enlists Mateo to help her with the language, but it looks like it is going to be a lot more difficult than she first thought.

Sheron's mother Loretta turns up to join the family holiday.

Kenneth goes to fetch Jacqueline from the airport, but when her flight is delayed he is more than happy to offer the charming Ryan a lift into town.

Kenneth's entrepreneurial instincts kick in when he decides to set up a minicab business on the side - having forgotten all about Jacqueline. Joey reckons he has pulled a blinder when he thinks he has signed up Tiger and himself for a free trip to Ibiza.

Video

The walk of shame

Sheron's mother Loretta turns up, and she's already made an impression.

Featuring: Danny Walters (Tiger Dyke), Julie Graham (Sheron Dawson), Steve Edge (Billy Dawson), Bobby Knutt (Eddie Dawson), Josh Bolt (Rob Dawson), Honor Kneafsey (Jodie Dawson) & Kate Fitzgerald (Loretta).

Press

More misunderstandings in the Spanish sun. Kenneth (Tony Maudsley) starts a taxi business by mistake, while Joyce (Sherrie Hewson) worries about her boss discovering that she can't speak Spanish, and Joey (Nathan Bryon) thinks a trip to Ibiza is free when it isn't. Mainly, though, we're wondering if randy wrinkly Nana Chase (former Brookside star Kate Fitzgerald) has really slept with a 20-year-old. It's fine, but it's half an hour of sitcom in an hour-long slot.

I talk to: Janine Duvitski

Last summer I paid a visit to the Solana, and whilst waiting for Blow N Go to open, I chatted to Janine Duvitski to find out more about what's in store for Jacqueline in the new series.
