Irish comedy duo the Rubberbandits bring their funny anti-gameshow back to ITV2. Think an underfunded Total Wipeout, seemingly filmed on a dilapidated regional airstrip. Having said that, 70s show It's a Knockout is an equally valid comparison, considering the likelihood of concussion as contestants are given 50 lives in which to complete a range of increasingly bizarre tasks including "eggy hammer" (smashing eggs with a spoon attached to a helmet) and "candle scream".

Tricky things to get right, comedy gameshows. For every Shooting Stars, HIGNFY or Buzzcocks, there are dozens more resembling the sort of shriekingly witless affairs featured in darkly satirical movies about dumbed-down dystopias. Or just Through The Keyhole with Keith Lemon. So, with tasks including putting on a pair trousers while running on a treadmill, and pedalling a tiny bicycle across a narrow beam, this could be a right laugh - or not (no previews were available).
