It's a two-hour live show presented by a "national treasure", with "national treasure" guests, celebrating our "national treasures". If you're already getting jaded by this summer's incessant wheeling out of forgotten athletes and coronation chicken, this is probably not for you. Carr will be joined by David Walliams, the cast of Made In Chelsea and, er, Justin Bieber. They'll compete to prove how game for a laugh they are in a series of sketches and turns.

Expect an explosion of camp and innuendo face-off when host Alan Carr welcomes comedian David Walliams to the studio tonight. The men's penchant for Carry On-style humour means it's likely to be liberally sprinkled throughout an episode that also welcomes guests Amanda Holden, Walliams's fellow judge on Britain's Got Talent, comedian Eddie Izzard and the cast of the reality show Made In Chelsea. Music comes from American indie rock band Gossip.
