TV presenter Rachel Riley, of Countdown and Gadget Show fame, and her pal comedian Joe Wilkinson (8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown), are deposited in downtown Thessaloniki, Greece's second largest city and notorious party destination, on the day before an extraordinary carnival.

Faced with a forfeit if they don't spend every last penny of their 10K, they endeavour to rack up the bills on ancient fertility rites, a fancy dress football match and a campaign to promote vegetables that involves a flash mob of Ancient Greek gods. They also manage to squeeze in a stiff drink or two - broccoli and leek cocktails, so it's healthy. Kind of.
