The Sitcom Mission 2017, the UK-based international comedy writing competition, is now open for entries (Find out more about The Sitcom Mission).
The deadline to upload your script is 23.59 BST on Sunday 30 April 2017.
Here's details on the rules and guidelines for entering this year's competition...
We have seven different levels of entry:
Entry into The Sitcom Mission 2017 (£10): If you want to enter The Sitcom Mission 2017 and don't want to receive any feedback.
Bronze Bullet (£20): Our best-value feedback option! A one-page review of your script (after the longlist has been announced) for only £10 more than the Regular entry fee.
Bronze Entry (£40): If you would like written feedback from one of our script readers after the longlist has been announced.
Silver Bullet Entry (£30): This option is similar to the Silver option below, but is for people who would prefer just to know the basics of what is and isn't working in their script. You'll get a one-page bullet-point feedback highlighting the main issues and areas to work on before the deadline, from one of our script readers. First draft must be entered by Friday 31 March.
Silver Entry (£60): If you want to enter The Sitcom Mission and would like written feedback before the closing date, so that you've got time to do a rewrite on your script before the deadline, please use this button. First draft must be entered by Friday 31 March.
Gold Bullet (£50): The same deal as Gold Entry, but in a concise, one-page, bullet-point format, focusing on the most important areas for improvement. First draft must be entered by Tuesday 28 February.
Gold Entry (£100): Once you have uploaded your script, we'll send you feedback. You'll then have two weeks to do a rewrite and send it back to us. We'll then get you another set of feedback based on the rewritten script and you'll have a week to do another rewrite before the deadline. First draft must be entered by Tuesday 28 February.
