The five 1980s specials of Only Fools And Horses are due to be released on Blu-ray for the first time.

Only Fools And Horses - The 80s Specials is due to be released on 22nd November.

The box set contains the 1985 episode To Hull And Back, 1986's A Royal Flush, 1987 special The Frog's Legacy, Dates - first seen in 1988 and The Jolly Boys' Outing, which was originally transmitted on Christmas day in 1989. Plus, there are several bonus features included which are likely to be of particular interest to fans of the sitcom.

The BBC says: "To coincide with the 40th anniversary year of Only Fools And Horses, this special Blu-ray release includes a collectors' booklet, behind the scenes photo galleries, 5 exclusive art cards, plus both the original and writer's cut versions of A Royal Flush, a fully restored 4 minute clip from The Jolly Boys' Outing, plus unseen footage from that memorable roller coaster scene!"

First aired on Christmas Day 1986 and running for 75 minutes, A Royal Flush (pictured, top) was later edited at the behest of writer/creator John Sullivan. Fifteen minutes were removed, and it is this version that has been released on DVD to date. The original edit of the episode believed to have last aired in August 1992.
