Staged script book set to be published

A book featuring the scripts of Staged, the comedy series starring David Tennant and Michael Sheen, is set to be published.
Simon Evans and Phin Glynn, the creators of the format, have compiled Completely Staged, described as "the complete illustrated scripts of the lockdown hit TV show."
It is set to be released via Unbound, the book-based crowdfunding platform. When 100% of the funding has been achieved, copies will be printed for those who backed the project.
The publishers say: "Unbound are delighted to present Completely Staged, the show's official companion, containing the complete text of the screenplays from Staged's writer and director, Simon Evans, and co-creator, Phin Glynn. With a foreword from writer and broadcaster Gyles Brandreth, this handsome hardback is crammed with more than 100 images (many never seen before) - from photographs, screenshots and illustrations, to pages from the musical score and tips on how-to-draw-a-pineapple-David-Tennant-style - along with Simon Evans's exclusive director's notes. The book has been compiled and edited by Staged's co-producer Victor Glynn and Sophie Goldsworthy."

The eBook can be obtained for £10, whilst a signed first edition of the 384 page hardback is priced at £35. Staged, which also stars Georgia Tennant and Anna Lundberg, launched in June 2020 as a reaction to coronavirus lockdown. The eight-part second series followed in January 2021. The 14 episodes were released on DVD on Monday.
Earlier today, it was revealed that Staged had been nominated for Best Comedy in the Broadcasting Press Guild Awards, with Tennant up for the Best Actor prize too. Meanwhile, last month in the Comedy.co.uk Awards, the show was voted by comedy fans as the Best New TV Sitcom of 2020. Below is the acceptance video that Tennant and Sheen filmed:

David Tennant and Michael Sheen (playing themselves) were due to star in a production of Six Characters In Search Of An Author in the West End. The pandemic has put paid to that, but their director (Simon Evans - also playing himself) is determined not to let the opportunity pass him by. He knows how big a chance this is for him and turns his attention to cajoling his stars into rehearsing over the internet.
