Michael McIntyre tops 2015 Christmas DVD charts

With 297,003 units sold, Michael McIntyre's Happy & Glorious DVD was the top selling DVD this Christmas. Estimates suggest it turned over £3,319,758 in sales.

The stand-up was closely followed in the charts by Kevin Bridges with his A Whole Different Story DVD (259,191 units sold), and Mrs Brown's Boys Live (241,757 sold).

Meanwhile, the top selling TV comedy DVD was Peter Kay's Car Share. Having previously broken BBC iPlayer records, the six-part series shifted 118,016 DVDs in the run up to Christmas, creating sales of £1,392,733.
