United Downs is a little-known area of Cornwall with derelict engine-houses, vast scrap yards and apocalyptic dumping grounds. It is also the home of the legendary Boneshaker Stock Car Races.
Scrap dealer Jed Kneebone has left his prized 1956 Cadillac Eldorado to his children. When one of them decides to enter it in the Boneshaker, the family are set on a collision course.
