Tragedy strikes Mayfield model village when Robin has a fight with a forklift truck leaving Wendy struggling with her conscience.

Robin gets run over by a fork lift truck and ends up in a coma and Wendy has to decide whether to turn off his life support system. But she finds her mind wandering onto other matters when she meets Daniel, an attractive young patient on another ward, who's in need of some mothering. Meanwhile, Maureen can't decide how to spend the compensation money - a house in Spain or a fleet of luxury cars.
