A recording of I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue in Coventry has had to be cancelled after it was discovered the local theatre has been double-booked.

Two rounds of the antidote to panel games, which is due to record its 54th series, was set to take place at Coventry's Belgrade Theatre on Tuesday 18th January next year.

However, the show's producer Jon Naismith wrote in the ISIHAC newsletter that the recording "has today been cancelled due to the fact that the theatre managed to double book us, and took three months to discover their error."

It is not yet known where or when the recording will now take place.

The other shows for the series are being recorded at Leeds Town Hall on Sunday 21st November and at the Hawth Theatre in Crawley on Saturday 18th December. Normally, two episodes are recorded in each venue.

Jack Dee is returning as host, a role which, following the death of Humphrey Lyttleton, he has fulfilled since last year. Regular panellists Tim Brooke-Taylor, Barry Cryer and Graeme Garden, and the show's piano player Colin Sell will also appear, along with as of yet unannounced guest panellists.

I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue is also currently touring independently of Radio 4. It visits Newcastle City Halls on the 8th December, The Ipswich Regent on the 12th December and Oxford on the 13th December.

The show has also recently joined up to Twitter. You can follow it via: @ISIHAClue
