Jocelyn Jee Esien is working on a new project for Radio 4.

She is developing It's Jocelyn, a sketch show for the network involving multiple new characters.

The 3 Non Blondes and Little Miss Jocelyn star will present various new creations in the show, which is currently at the pilot stage.

The BBC confirms: "Back with a raft of brand new characters including the Overly Dramatic Family, a pair of terrible African Drummers and a bad-tempered couple who run a takeaway business, Jocelyn vents her frustrations at the world around her through sketches and stand-up. From pedantic dinner dates to coping with annoying friends, Jocelyn's life provides a rich seam of humour."

A run through of It's Jocelyn will take place at The Albany venue in London next Tuesday (13th October).

The star will be joined on stage by an ensemble cast comprising of Curtis Walker, Ninia Benjamin and Kevin J.

Jocelyn Jee Esien starred in the TV sketch show Little Miss Jocelyn from 2006 to 2008. Her recent credits include Three Kinds Of Stupid, Gangsta Granny and Big School.
