Benjy is no ordinary baby. With protruding horns, fangs and a tail, new parents Karen and Nick have their work cut out in placating the tiny terror. But when the opportunity arises, can the couple enjoy one night to themselves?

Outnumbered meets Rosemary's Baby in this manic pilot penned by Horrible Histories veteran Gerard Foster. There is promise here, but the smart parallels between satanic horror and raising children are lost under a deluge of puerile jokes.

While it's early days for this shaky comedy, with a few measured tweaks Little Monster could quickly return to tear up the airwaves.
