John welcomes Chris Difford from Squeeze, but not before he has ejected Ken from the front door with his unwanted request to show John and Chris his new windows. Chris is soon invited to "show us what you can do" and plays classic song Up The Junction and John is duly impressed.
However, the admiration starts to fade when John finds out that Chris once took 50p from his mum's purse to place an advert in a shop window. Can John condone theft and forgive Chris, or will Chris have to redeem himself with his rendition of John's song Fish And Chips, and will they be friends by the final medley?
