Here is a guide to the 51st series of I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue, which arrived on our airwaves following a year off due to the death of the show's former chairman, the much-loved Humphrey Lyttelton. Deputising in the role of chairman was Stephen Fry, Jack Dee and Rob Brydon, from recordings at Her Majesty's Theatre, Haymarket; the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton; and the Theatre Royal in Newcastle respectively.
Jack Dee takes over as the new chairman of the show, taking part in recordings at the Old Vic Theatre in London, Chichester Festival Theatre and the Futurist Theatre in Scarborough. Joining regular panellists Tim Brooke-Taylor, Barry Cryer and Graeme Garden at the three recordings are Rob Brydon, David Mitchell and Jo Brand respectively. In the case of David and Jo, it is their first time on the show.
Series 73 was originally going to be recorded in Reading, Malvern and Huddersfield, but only the latter two shows were recorded before the COVID-19 lockdown occurred, resulting in the rest of the series being recorded remotely. The Huddersfield performances were also the last shows recorded with Tim Brooke-Taylor.
