Comedian Chris Corcoran welcomes a different guest every week to see whether or not they have what it takes to inspire the studio audience to follow them and lead them to revolution. The process is split across five rounds:

What's On Your Placard? - The guests state two policies they would put forward, and the audience pick which one they would support.

You and Whose Army? - The guest picks who would be their ideal second-in-command. However, as their ideal choice is not in the room, they have to pick one of two members of the audience. That audience member creates the slogan to go on the guest's placards.

Tea or Coffee, Starter or Puddings? - A quick-fire personality test, with Corcoran asking the guests to pick one of two choices, although the guest is allowed to ask one question concerning each choice given. The first two questions are always "Tea or coffee" and "Starter or puddings".

Do You Hear the People Sing? - The choice of national anthem. The choice is between the first song the guest ever bought or their favourite novelty track.

Comrades Questions - The guest answers questions from the audience on the eve of revolution.

After a final 30 second speech, the audience give the guest a final cheer if they would agree to follow them, come the revolution.
