Comedy stalwart Bill Pertwee recalls his time on Beyond Our Ken.

Long before he became a fixture on British television portraying characters such as Warden Hodges in Dad's Army, Bill Pertwee was a regular on BBC Radio. Between March 1959 and November 1963, Bill provided a myriad of voices on Beyond Our Ken following the departure of Ron Moody at the end of Series 1. Beyond Our Ken was the comedy platform for Kenneth Horne, and the precursor to Round The Horne.
