I live in the North East, I work in psychiatric health and strongly believe in the old maxim, 'laughter is the best medicine'.

My influences in comedy are too many to mention but probably start with Laurel and Hardy right through to Lee Nelson...

I've only recently taken up comedy screenwriting and have just won The Circalit.Com 2011 Short Screenplay Competition (judged by Julie Gray, script consultant and talent scout) with my first ever submission, 'The Falconers' thus winning a consultation with Julie Gray on how to take my writing career forward to the next level...

'What a delightful script. It set up a vivid world, quickly and easily. The pages were compelling, the keywords were used in great context and the era was evoked. What a promising writer...' Julie Gray, July, 2011

Cleanliness Next To Godliness, the follow up to The Falconers, was recently voted top screenplay for May on Zoetrope.Com and the rest of the seven part series is currently in development.

I'm also working on 'Bring Me the Heads of Norman Garcia', a feature length comedy drama about an aspiring Mafia racketeer with the brain cells of a moth. The first ten pages have been posted up Zoetrope and is currently receiving some good reviews...
