Alison Vernon-Smith is a multi-award winning audio Producer. Formerly an Executive Producer in BBC Radio Comedy she's currently a freelance Producer, Director and Script Editor. She's also the Executive Producer of We Need To Talk About .. a weekly, topical satirical podcast for Spotify hosted by Jolyon Rubinstien.
She's won awards for her work with Bridget Christie and Andrew O' Neill on Radio 4 and has made many comedy shows for Radio 4 and Radio 2 including sitcoms, panel shows and audience stand-up shows.
She now runs Comedy writing courses, the next one is on November 25th in Brighton. No Laughing Matter - an Introduction to Sitcom Writing which she's running with Harry Venning, creator and writer of Clare in the Community.
