Join multi-award-winning TV and audio comedy producer Simon Nicholls for a special 1-hour masterclass, focused on strengthening your comedy writing skills.

In this Zoom webinar he will be looking at the crucial fundamentals, with practical tips and advice on creating strong comic characters, creating funny truthful plots that best show off your characters and many useful writing "Dos and Don'ts".

Simon has had an illustrious career: starting out as a producer in the BBC's radio comedy department, Simon joined Armando Iannucci's BBC TV comedy team for 5 years before becoming an exec producer for BBC Studios Comedy. Simon currently produces award-winning comedies including French & Saunders' podcast Titting About and Sue Perkins' BBC comedy series Nature Table.

Passionate about developing new comedy writing talent, Simon runs Falmouth University's online master's in Comedy Writing. Supported by Falmouth's award-winning Digital Learning team and strong industry connections, many students have secured professional broadcast writing credits and are actively developing shows with leading production companies.
