Amused Moose National New Comic 2019 finalists
Babatunde Aleshe, Basil Jamm, Dan Jones, Michael Akadiri, Patrick Spicer, Russell Arathoon, Stuart McPherson and Ruby Carr will take part in the Amused Moose National New Comic 2019 final.
The organisers say: "Nearly 500 entries by the UK and Ireland's keenest fledgling comedians were sifted online by comedy industry worldwide to select just 80 stand out stand-ups to perform live in the Amused Moose National New Comic Awards quarterfinals.
"And now after the exciting and laughter-packed semi-finals in Soho, there are eight splendid finalists who will be showcased in the twentieth Amused Moose National New Comic Final at the Edinburgh Fringe in August, eager to follow in the footsteps of previous winners Rob Beckett, Sarah Millican and Jack Whitehall and claim their shiny moose trophy."
The final will take place on the 19th August at the Grassmarket Centre, as part of the Edinburgh Fringe. Ahead of that, the finalists will perform at Richmond's Big Funny Fest in June.
