Tommy Cooper
Tommy Cooper was a Welsh magician and prop comic. He developed his act, mixing comedy and magic, whilst serving during the Second World War, and it soon developed into a unique mix of carefully choreographed "failures" to his tricks. He enjoyed particular prominence during a string of his own Thames Television comedy series during the 1970s.
