Radio Times review

No sooner has she left The One Show sofa, the ubiquitous Alex Jones is back, this time on the panel show in which participants attempt to hoodwink their opponents with absurd facts and plausible lies about themselves. It's all in good fun, and host Rob Brydon and team captains David Mitchell and Lee Mack know how to squeeze the maximum amount of laughter from each absurd suggestion. Comedy actor Greg Davies, performance poet John Cooper Clarke and TV presenter Rick Edwards are also along for the ride in this edition.

This spoof gameshow, part of BBC Three's disability season, has the deliberately contentious premise of "disabling" its celebrity contestants. Those involved seem so eager to take part they were presumably in on the joke, with politicised presenter Rick Edwards going beyond the call of duty in a blindfolded round called Flick It, Sniff It, Lick It. It's surprisingly good fun, though the backstage sketches where host Martin Dougan has to deal with TV production toadies unable to see past his wheelchair are less successful.

Controversial new series in which celebrities have their social media accounts scrutinised for embarrassing facts, before being humiliated until they use their safe word. Rick Edwards hosts and Katherine Ryan and David Morgan are among the comedians who roast. The first victims are lovable loon Joey Essex and boxer David Haye, who go in for a verbal joust. It's the show that Sinitta called "vile" and she may be on to something as Joey's Twitter account is hacked to make a spoof announcement that he's going to be a dad. Cheap lolz.

Rick Edwards slams Sinitta

Rick Edwards has responded to Sinitta and defended his new ITV2 show, Safeword. The So Macho singer previously hit out at the new programme and called it "vile".
