Saltburn review

Make no mistake, the clever writing is here, as is the style, the sleek technique, and some terrific performances (Rosamund Pike is especially delicious in a supporting role). What's missing, or muddled, is the message - and perhaps even more, the heart.

Saltburn review

Director Emerald Fennell's absurd new film, while entertaining, isn't the wealth satire many want it to be. And it misses an opportunity to be something better.

Saltburn review

Emerald Fennell's posh thriller is an inconclusive class satire, but also great fun.

Clarisse Loughrey, The Independent, 16th November 2023

Saltburn review

Emerald Fennell's class comedy is Highsmith without the wit.

Danny Leigh, The Financial Times, 16th November 2023

This class comedy is like Brideshead - but with a dark, thrilling twist...

Brian Viner, Daily Mail, 16th November 2023
