Jane Postlethwaite is a Queer Cumbrian Stand Up Comedian and Writer. She's written and performed character comedy, stand up and sketch shows for Brighton Fringe, Edinburgh Fringe and the Women in Comedy Festival. Her work has been heard on BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio Cumbria. It has been nominated and got her through to the finals and heats of various comedy awards.

Her past experience includes producing a successful comedy night called "Bad Book Project" in Brighton and putting together a collaborative podcast called "Character Building" which includes sketches and monologues from women.

She runs So Hilarious a comedy night in Manchester which showcases women and LGBTQI+ comedians.

She's currently focusing on her stand up comedy and her first stand up comedy show called "Terrible People". She's also working on two new comedy podcasts for 2024 called, "Bats in the Attic" and "All the Terrible Things".

Jane Postlethwaite's Made In Cumbria is absolutely hilarious. The audience were in stitches!!
