Actor and campaigner Lord Brian Rix has died after a long illness, at the age of 92.

Actor Lord Rix has revealed that terminal illness has left him in constant pain, bed-ridden and unable to sleep.
The 92-year-old said he is stricken "like a beached whale" and now longs for the right to end his life.
