BBC Three is to publish Just A Couple, a sitcom series about a "millennial couple". The show is described as being about "two young people who love each other, with all the trials and tribulations this presents."

Just A Couple stars Michael Salami as Mark, with Frieda Thiel as Shavon. Much of the action in the 10 minute episodes is set in the couple's flat.

The six-part series has been created, written and directed by Sebastian Thiel, an up-and-coming writer, producer and director in his mid-20s who has previously shot short films including Fill Me In and Illegal Activity. He first developed the format in 2015 with Michael Salami and Frieda Thiel, producing a four-part independent web series.

Episode 1 of the new series sees the couple taking a relationship quiz, and answers the question "Should you ever really ask your boyfriend what he would most like to change about you physically?"; and Episode 2 focuses on the concept of 'TV cheating'. When Mark finds out Shavon watched a whole series without him, he decides to see how far she'll go to keep her 'affair' secret.

The BBC Three series has been developed and filmed by Big Talk Productions, the company behind established TV hit such as Mum and The Job Lot.

Just A Couple is set to be broadcast on BBC Three's YouTube channel and website in weekly instalments, with Episode 1 due to go live on Thursday 9th March at 11am. Below is the trailer:
