Metroland is back, but not the Metroland 90s Northeastern kids will remember (The original 'Metroland' was the biggest indoor theme park based in a shopping centre in Gateshead Tyne & Wear)... but, something just as fun that shares its name.

Metroland is a comedy sketch show web series mixing mockumentary elements with cinematic shorts. Metroland features a slew of eccentric characters from across the North East, including Tim, an ideas man who it never quite works out for and a local northeastern radgy with an addiction to Greggs sausage rolls.

This series is an expression of Northern spirit, built upon hard times and harder circumstances, the humour which emerged has sustained generations -with a few dick jokes thrown in.
