Further details

After the abortive end to his first pilot, Luke tries his hand at a comedy travelogue. Drawing inspiration from the funny parent-comedian travelogues by Jack Whitehall, Romesh Ranganathan and Russell Howard, Luke takes his dad along for the ride too. First stop Amsterdam, where they plan to learn all about sex. Their travels take them to an erotic museum, a couples' sex workshop and a live sex show, but can Luke's dad rise to the challenge of being as funny as other comedian's parents? Can Luke stay funny for 48 hours in Amsterdam?

It's a journey with many twists and turns, and keen to impress, Luke turns up the dial on the mad caper counter when he embarks upon an enlightening social experiment with a top-of-the-range sex doll. Hilarity ensues as Luke and his lifelike girlfriend take on Amsterdam. Needless to say, this pilot did not go to plan.

TV/Online review: The Luke McQueen Pilots

The second of his three pilots spoofing TV formats is a little close to home for comedian Luke McQueen.

The Luke McQueen Pilots: Sex With My Father review

After a disappointing opening episode that failed to make its mark among so many other awkward mockumentaries, the second of Luke McQueen's supposedly aborted BBC pilots is on a firmer footing. Even if the title star is outshone by fellow comic Mark Silcox, who quietly steals every scene he's in.
