Sitcom Mission The Sitcom Mission

The Sitcom Mission, the comedy writing competition supported by British Comedy Guide, is now back for its ninth year and once again looking for 15 minute scripts. The competition has a great track record of getting people in front of production companies (last year's winners have now been optioned by Yellow Door Productions). Edinburgh Edinburgh Fringe 2018

We've just launched our control panel for shows heading to the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe. Sign in now (it's free!) to get on our Edinburgh mailing list, create a listing on BCG, pitch your show to our writing team, get tips, answer our feature interview questions, and more. BCG Fringe control panel

If you've not yet got a venue booked but still want to perform it's not too late, especially if you're looking to do just a short run. Try contacting the venues to see what slots they still have left. For example, Pleasance has 'odds and sods'.
Sitcom Geeks Sitcom Geeks

James Cary and Dave Cohen have been producing some brilliantly insightful episodes of their podcast recently. The latest includes tips on submitting to the BBC (the Writersroom Comedy window deadline is April 16th). BBC New Comedy Award BBC New Comedy Award

We don't have any details yet, but we know the entry form for the BBC New Comedy Award 2018 - the competition for up-and-coming stand-up acts - is due to launch this Monday (9th April), so keep an eye on our website next week if you want to enter that competition.
Rocliffe BAFTA Rocliffe

If you're planning to get involved in the BAFTA Rocliffe New Comedy Writing Competition, you need to file your script by 5pm on Wednesday 18th April 2018. You'll find all the details you need on their website. Details
Plebs Behind-the-scenes on Plebs
