Marking its anniversary today and coming off the back of renowned hits like The Plank and Rhubarb Rhubarb!, the half-hour programme for Thames also featured comedy legends such as Richard Briers, Bernard Cribbins, Irene Handl and Jimmy Edwards in the tale of a pair of removal men attempting to get a husband and wife into their new home. It's available on DVD as part of a splendid Eric Sykes collection, for only a little over £5 at the time of writing. |
