Kat And The BandThis independent British feature was filmed three years ago now, and saw a low-key digital release through certain streaming platforms in the summer. It stars Ella Hunt (Anna And The Apocalypse, Cold Feet, Dickinson) as a teenager who dreams only of making it in the music business, and sets out by signing a small but promising local rock band, Dollar Days, to be managed by her. With a confidence far beyond her years, she pushes them to see far beyond local pubs and clubs, but things quickly begin falling apart as she attempts to take the group on tour. Real life pop-rock star, McFly's Dougie Poynter co-stars as the band's front man and lead guitarist, in a cast that also includes Rufus Hound and Katherine Kelly. Stream it now. |
