Life With CooperRunning for three series from 1966, this sketch-magic-stand-up hybrid represents Tommy Cooper's earliest surviving television work. Just three episodes of the 19 are missing, but the rest - plus the sole surviving edition of predecessor Cooperama - are all available on DVD, in a triple-disc set released early last year. Packing in the comic's trademark humour with wonderful illusions and a run of sketches depicting the disasters of his daily life, it remains a very funny comedy to this day - and perfect entertainment for all ages. |
