Spotlight

The IT Crowd

The IT Crowd

Having been in the audience for the show's first recording, we can't quite believe we're writing this: The IT Crowd is a stonking 14 years old today. That night in the studio seems a while ago, but almost a decade and a half? Crikey. Bringing Chris O'Dowd, Richard Ayoade and Katherine Parkinson to the attention of the world, the Channel 4 sitcom follows the hapless basement-based nerds, and their even more hapless boss, in a faceless company's IT department. Clocking up four very popular - and internationally successful - series before its finale, this could be an appropriate time to revisit the comedy anew.
