Man About The House
This icon mid-70s sitcom from Thames Television marks its 45th anniversary today. Richard O'Sullivan starred with Paula Wilcox and Sally Thomsett in the comedy about an Earl's Court flatshare between one young man and two young women. Running for 6 series in just under 4 years, it would spawn a feature film adaptation, two spin-offs (including the wonderful George & Mildred, which also had its own film) and equally hugely successful US adaptations. A real sitcom of its time. Guide |
