Slinger's Day
Following the death of Leonard Rossiter in 1984, his final sitcom, Tripper's Day, was reborn as Slinger's Day, starring the great Bruce Forsyth. Charting the misadventures of the manager and staff at a small London supermarket, the sitcom ran for a further two series with Brucie at the helm. Having marked its 31st anniversary over the weekend and with Bruce's talents still fresh in mind, it's a good time to revisit this largely forgotten sitcom curio from Thames. The complete series is available on DVD now. Guide |
