The Arthur Haynes Show
Celebrating its 60th anniversary just yesterday was The Arthur Haynes Show, an ITV sketch show starring the comic (with straight man Nicholas Parsons) that ran for an amazing 158 episodes over 14 series before Haynes's premature death in 1966, aged just 52. Now sadly largely forgotten, Haynes and the show have been brought back to the fore with every surviving episode out on DVD. Guide |
