A third series of Extras could be on its way. Ricky Gervais previously suggested that he would end the show after two series, but in an interview with The Daily Mirror he said that there was "still some mileage in it."

And he added that he would like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Meryl Streep, Bruce Willis, Dick van Dyke and Mickey Rooney to guest star.
