Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran have written a follow-up to their New Statesman stage show. Called "B'Stard's Extremely Secret Weapon" the play opens in Wimbledon in March and will then tour till the summer.

The plot sees the morally reprehensible politician (played by Rik Mayall), who is now a New Labour MP (having switched from being a Tory in the first play), scheming to join the Trillionaire's club - a small shadowy group of politicians who control the world's oil supply.
