A recently filmed documentary series featuring Stephen Fry travelling America is to be expanded.

The BBC One series Stephen Fry in America is to feature Fry as he travels across each of the 50 states of the United States, for which he has travelled 20,000 miles. Now, another spin-off series entitled More Fry in America is also to be recorded. This BBC Four series will feature a short series of five essays covering subjects relating to the USA.

This will not be the first time Fry has expressed his views on the country. In his last podcast, or 'Podgram' as the series is known (currently fourth on the iTunes podcast chart), features Fry discussing Oscar Wilde's view of why America is so violent: "Because your wallpaper is so ugly".

The series is to be produced by West Park Pictures and Prospect Cymru Wales.
