Mitchell and Webb to make BBC Two sitcom

Peep Show stars David Mitchell and Robert Webb have announced they are to film a sitcom pilot for BBC Two.

The duo, who also making a third series of their hit sketch show That Mitchell And Webb Look for the channel, will film the as-yet-untitled comedy at the end of the year.

Mitchell told Teletext: "We're still fiddling with it, but it will be similar in style to The IT Crowd, Black Books and Father Ted; a more heightened reality than Peep Show."

The fifth series of Peep Show starts on Channel 4 next month. Fans wanting a sneak-peak can see the first episode at the BAFTA Peep Show event, with writers Jesse Armstrong and Sam Bain on Tuesday 22nd April. More Info.
