Harry Hill's TV Burp managed to get its highest ever viewing figure last Saturday when it attracted an impressive audience of 7 million; nearly a third of those watching TV at 7pm. The episode was shown half-an-hour later than normal, mainly due to ITV1 broadcasting a Harry Potter film during the afternoon. Hill also attracted a large number of viewers in the half-an-hour before, with You've Been Framed attracting 6.4 million viewers (30%).

It was not such good news for ITV's Thank God You're Here though. The improv show hosted by Paul Merton, which was shown an hour later than normal, lost yet more viewers. This third episode lost another 800,000 viewers, leaving the series with just 1.9 million (10%). A repeat of Have I Got News for You over on BBC2 attracted more viewers, 2.3 million watched the re-run.

On ITV1 on Friday Moving Wallpaper got 3.2 million and Al Murray's Happy Hour attracted 2.5 million.
