Noel Fielding, star of The Mighty Boosh, is to appear alongside double-act Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer in a new Radio 2 sketch show.

Vic Reeves' House Arrest, which starts on 17th November, stars Reeves as himself, after he has been put under house arrest for a "Wacky" crime he did not commit. In the show he is forced to kill as much time as possible, including trying to appear on The X Factor by singing in the bath. In the show, Fielding plays an odd-job man, and Mortimer plays "Carl the hairdresser".

Recently, Reeves was honoured by being named a comedy legend by Loaded magazine's Lafta Awards, following in the footsteps on Ricky Tomlinson, Leslie Phillips and Bruce Forsyth.

A third series of The Mighty Boosh starts on BBC Three in November.
