The cameo appearance Little Britain stars David Walliams and Matt Lucas made in the popular Austraian soap Neighbours has now aired on Network Ten down under.

The comedians appeared in the Scarlet Bar in character as Lou and Andy. Although they had non-speaking roles the pair easily manage to steal the scene.

The episode will be shown on the BBC later in the year (as the UK is several months behind Australia).

A Neighbours spokesperson said the "cast and crew were delighted to welcome Matt, David and the documentary team that were recording their experience on tour Down Under" back in March when the scene was filmed and added that the duo's visit to the soap set was "relatively kerfuffle free".
