Dean Sullivan, best known for playing Jimmy Corkhill in Brookside, is to star in a new pilot about a chancer who leads a complicated and risky double life. The pilot episode for "Terry Across The Mersey" will be filmed shortly by Grade 1 Productions.

Dean Sullivan will take on the role of Terry Valentine in the pilot. Other confirmed cast members include fellow ex-brookie's Phil Olivier and Suzanne Collins. Former "Game for a Laugh" and GMTV star Rustie Lee has also been cast in a pivotal role.
